TwoCal Bolus
TwoCal Bolus is a 2.0 kcal/ml tube feed for people who are catabolic or fluid restricted who have, or are at risk of developing, disease-related malnutrition. TwoCal Bolus contains FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides), which has an important role in the diet by helping to support gastrointestinal function.1 It is available to order in a 200 ml bottle for bolus feeding which attaches directly to Abbott giving sets.
Tube feeds are designed for people who cannot take in all of the calories and nutrients they need by mouth. Tube feeding usually starts in hospital, and involves delivering a nutritionally complete liquid feed directly into the stomach or small bowel via a narrow tube.
